Ha! Just when I thought it was safe, that I’d worked out the other dilemma’s long enough to actually get some writing done, something else happens! And that happens to be . . . gardening.
Yep – it’s time to plant the garden! I’ve been working on planning out what I want to do with our yard. It’s basically a blank slate at this point. The previous owners had a nice garden at one point but after they rented the house out, the renters let it go. By the time we bought it last year, everything was grown over. So I’ve spend the last few weeks digging out the old landscaping and planning where to put all the new plants I got for Mother’s Day.
But today it’s raining! Of course it is. I have plants to plant and yes, of course it’s raining now.
I thought that perhaps I could write then. Not sure it’s going to happen though. The kids got up earlier than usual, it’s cold in the house and my nose and head are all stuffed up now. Drastic weather changes always do that to me.
Anywho – I haven’t been posting much as a result of the garden thing but I just wanted to check in and let you all know I’m still here. I’ll be posting regularly again as soon as I’m done with getting the garden in. It’ll be easy to maintain once this part of the work is all done.
